It’s Not My Stuff

When someone forces you to be what they want you to be... and shames you for not fulfilling their expectations....

It's them, not you.

It's their problem, not yours.

It's their shame, not yours.

It's their inadequacy, not yours.

It's their fault, not yours.

It's their low self-esteem, not yours.

It's their faulty expectations of themselves, not of you.

It's their shortcomings, not yours.

Realize they are projecting their issues onto you and making you feel bad about THEIR shortcomings. Why? Because they don't know how to deal with THEIR STUFF. They don't want to admit their faults, problems, or inadequacies. So, they throw them onto you to deal with.

Don't take on other people's "stuff." It's THEIR stuff, not yours. Drop it and disengage. Leave them to sort thru THEIR STUFF.

Your life is YOUR OWN - to do with as you please.
